April 17th 2016 (Ubud, Bali) April 17, 2016 by DejaLulu 3 Comments We are staying right next to the rice paddies, so front row seats to learn how the new seedlings are planted out. New found rice paddy walks The fresh coconuts are huge here! The fresh market – you have to be up early for this though More sights from in and around town We’re getting good at steps! You guessed it! More walking! This is the home of ‘Eat Pray Love’ after all Ha haaaa! Now we have taken to the road on two wheels! We have a curious little pond in the kitchen Then the rains came – time for some rock painting With a scooter we can travel further afield. A trip out to Big Tree Farm and a raw cacao tour From the flowers come the fruit And then the beans Then the roasting, grinding, and making into a paste – those kids couldn’t get any closer to the chocolate!!! They burn the rice paddy stubble here too! The wonder continues…… Share on FacebookTweetFollow us Related
