During an extended stay in Ventura, California USA, I was able to join a welcoming and dedicated group of crafters at The Crowne Plaza promenade. It was a regular weekend event and I gratefully accepted the occasional invitation from them.
It was my first experience of having a craft stall and I learned much about the art of selling, as well as the warmth that comes from being part of something wholesome!
My beginnings were humble as I set up my first small table, but as my confidence and stock increased so did my table.
I loved it and will always smile when I consider my lovingly painted stones sitting in the home of the folks of Ventura 🙂
